Nick Turpin was born and raised in London, where he studied Art & Design and quickly moved to study Photography, where he realised his heart drew him.

Nick started is photographic career at The Independent Newspaper where he travelled the work putting himself on the front line and capturing what was happening around the world.

After 7 years of photo journalism, Nick left to pursue a career in Advertising and Design photography where he has developed photography and is a world renowned photographer for his street photography.

In 2000 Nick was the founder of the international street photography group in-public. Nick has also taught and lectured on contemporary street photography at Museums, Universities and national TV.

Nick is based in London.
